Speed dating brings together a large number of women who are looking for men into one place and normally on a quiet night

Once you know where the events are and when they are you will be able to show up after they have just finished in many bars or hang out in the lunges nearby to talk to them on the breaks.

If you see everyone leaving then you can approach the women right after the event.  And you have the easy opener of "How was the event?"
