Once you have completed some of the missions, you will find your confidence and social skill growing and the contrast will be clear to you at a speed-dating event.

Most of the guys work in technology and do not demonstrate an ounce of personality. They are also nervous about dating in general and especially dating in public. No one likes rejection you see.

Also you can bet your last dollar that 99% of women are there because they want a man. Yes you get the odd one or two that really are going with a friend so she is not there alone - but mostly even that is an excuse. There is no mistake that they want to meet you, they have paid to meet, and they found the event and organised it days ago.

In fact most of the women there will be desperate for a man’s romantic attention, if she was getting it she wouldn't be there!

Word of Caution: There are always going to be several women using these events to have a lot of men hit on them and to increase their self-esteem. They know that the guys will make them feel good and they have no need to out right reject them... they just don’t tick the box afterwards. So don’t read too much into something you think went really well to it going nowhere.
